Valentine's Dinner at the Museum Fundraiser!

The Second Annual Valentine's Dinner at the Museum Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, February 14. Cost is $50 each and includes appetizers, a bottle of wine with dinner, a gormet dinner and fantastic dessert! A cash bar is available. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling or emailing the Garnder Museum at 217-224-6873 or gmuseum@yahoo.com. A silent auction is included in the evening.

The next exhibits to open at the Gardner Museum of Architecture and Design are slated to open March 20. "Bridges and Structures of the Mississippi River at Quincy" will feature the bridges, locks and dams and levee systems. "The Architectural Styles of Quincy" will feature the many styles of architecture found in Quincy along with artifacts from buildings. "Gone but not Forgotten" will feature photos of buildings that are no longer standing from the museum's photo collection.
